What a flashy horse is this big-framed Ragazzi van de Kwaplas! He moves with a lot of suppleness and balance and has an excellent walk.
Sire Livius, a Bordeaux son, can rightly be called an up-and-coming talent under Danielle Heijkoop. He even won his Prix St. George debut this year at the age of 7. His first offspring at the stallion inspections also seemed very promising, and his foals were also highly sought after in foal auctions.
The dam of Ragazzi van de Kwaplas descends from Spielberg, the stallion known for the good characters of his offspring.
Granddam Wonda van de Kwaplas (by Ferro) produced, among others, the PSG/Inter 1 horse Farinelli (by Sandro Hit). Ankonda van de Kwaplas, full sister of the granddam, competed at Grand Prix level herself and her other full sister, Casseopea van de Kwaplas, competed at PSG/Inter 1 level. Further down the dam line we see the Oldenburg-approved and PSG/Inter 1-classed Rosenstar S (by Rubinstein I). Also Grand Prix horses Cappucino van de Kwaplas (by Ferro) and La Gesse Hot Chocolat van de Kwaplas (by Sir Donnerhall I) come from the dam line of Ragazzi van de Kwaplas.
