ABOUT
Scuderia 1918 Halifax van het Kluizebos inherited the qualities of his sire well in O'Halifax Ice Z. She could have been a Heartbreaker with her attitude and sharpness. These qualities make her a future modern sport horse. She has only just been backed and is still green.
So O'Halifax Ice's sire is none other than the Heartbreaker son Scuderia 1918 Halifax van het Kluizebos, Lorenzo de Luca's former superstar who even jumped at 1.70m level.
As the name of this O'Halifax Ice suggests, she does not come from the least damline!
Grandmother Annina Z (by Animo II Z) herself jumped at 1.40m level and also produced 1.50m horse Crystal Ice Z (by Comme il Faut), the 1.45m jumping Nino Ice Z (by Numero Uno) and Kalamaki R Z (by Kannan GFE) who is competing at 1.40m level. Annina Z herself is out of the famous Cold as Ice Z (by Carthago) who jumped 1.60m under Kevin Staut. Cold as Ice Z is also the dam of As Cold as Ice Z (by Arthos Z), the impressive grey who was successful at 1.60m level with Judy Ann Melchior. In addition, the Zangersheide-approved stallions Topaz Ice Z (by Toulon) and Antartica Z (by Air Jordan Z) also come from this lineage, with Antartica Z also being 1.60m classified.
