Her sire Baloubet junior Z competed at the highest level with Louise Saywell and Jonathan and Christine McCrea. Dam Unika is by the influential sire Argentinus. Her threequarter sister Miss Belverdere jumped 1.50m classes. Her dam Gentle Breeze (Mity Wind xx x Legaat) traces back to the Netherlands. Vanity Fair is bred out of the famous Kattebel-damline, which produced lots of excellent showjumpers. Cas 2, Uriko, Dolores, Maroon and Newton are only a few examples of Grand Prix-jumpers of the Kattebel-progeny.
