ABOUT
Target is a son of rising talent O'Neill van 't Eigenlo. This stallion has been renamed 'Minute
Man' in America and can now be seen under that name under the saddle of Willem Greve.
Target has an appealing model with a top canter. On the jump he is a look-alike of his
father as a young horse, he jumps with great overview and an exemplary technique. He also
jumps with great ease over higher obstacles.
Sire O'Neill van 't Eigenlo / Minute Man is a blood-made athletic stallion who impressed again and again in the Belgian stallion competition under Nick Vrins, which did catch the eye of American investors.
Target's dam line is one to sit down for for a moment. Dam Ilotte-E descends from Canabis
Z and is also the dam of O.Elotte in this auction. Her dam Cornieke (by Oklund) is the dam
of the 1.50m jumping Gerdinieke-E. The mare behind that is Hilda (by Legaat) who
produced, among others, 1.60m horse Pegasus (by Carthago) and 1.50m horse Zidane (by
Oklund). Further down the direct dam line we encounter the 1.60m horses Timothy (by
Clinton), Content (by Abgar xx), Focus (by Bernstein), Baarlo (by Irco Polo), Jabot (by
Jasper) and Lucky Luck (by Feinschnitt I van de Richter). Also 1.50m horses Valentino (by
Royal Bravour), Aranka (by Salvatore), Loro Piana Kronieke (by Ekstein) and L'Unique (by
Ekstein) come from Target's direct dam line. From the complete dam line, the horses that
have competed at high level and the approved stallions are almost uncountable.
