ABOUT
The looks of her father, her carefulness, top attitude and very much overview characterize
Ophelia.
Her sire is none other than Kashmir van Schuttershof, the great stallion in breeding
who has already produced the bizarre number of more than 110 offspring at 1.60m-level or
higher. Perhaps Ophelia is the new H&M Indiana, H&M All in or Gazelle!
Ophelia also inherited excellent genes from her dam's side. Mother Zamorata descends from
the world-famous Heartbreaker and her offspring all seem to break through in the sport. She
is the dam of the 1.60m horse Excellent B (by Berlin), 1.45m horse Clintheart (by Clinton),
1.40m horse Kannanheart (by Kannan) and of the 7-year-old Cotheby (by Cornwell), who is
performing at 1.30m level. Ophelia's granddam is by Polydor and produced several 1.45m
and 1.40m horses, the Zeus mare behind her did bring a 1.40m horse but also a Grand Prix
dressage horse. Ophelia's dam line also includes Quantus (by. Quattro B), who is licensed
with the Oldenburg studbook and in Rheinland Westphalia and the 1.50m horse Lazora (s.
Zeus).
